Treatment and Cost
We offer a range of clinical ear treatments, including microsuction, for clients (with a minimum age of 19 years) experiencing the symptoms of blocked ears due to excess ear wax. Our current fee is £60 for one ear or £80 for both. In the event there is no excess wax present in your ears, the only charge to you is £20 for the initial screening and video otoscopy. We may also advise a further appointment for a hearing test.

The Microsuction Company is an independent, family-run ear health clinic, offering ear wax removal, hearing tests and hearing aid consultancy. Our practitioners are all registered hearing aid dispensers (RHAD), regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

Our Microsuction Clinic
The Microsuction Company’s ground floor annexe clinic usually has space for one vehicle to pull up on the entrance driveway, otherwise there is plenty of on-road parking nearby.
We have a welcoming reception area and work with the highest safety and hygiene procedures in place. We will give you a triage call in advance of your appointment to ensure we accommodate any special requirements you may have, including in terms of accessibility. We are wheelchair-friendly, with just one small step into our reception area and a wheelchair ramp available.
Our treatment room is fully equipped with the latest technology and a specialist audiology chair. We offer a comfortable and calm environment in which to receive your treatment with one of our expert practitioners.

The Microsuction Company is located in Maiden Newton in Dorset – just off the A37 between Yeovil and Dorchester. We are within easy reach for clients travelling from Dorchester and Poundbury, Sherborne and surrounding villages, the Piddle Valley, Beaminster, Bridport, Lyme Regis, Weymouth and Portland. Our clinic is a short walk from Maiden Newton station, on the Heart of Wessex line, with trains connecting us to Yeovil Pen Mill, Castle Cary, Bruton and Frome to the north with Dorchester West and Weymouth in the south.
